Hi Rambles of a SAHM readers! It's Laura from Food Snob St. Louis, and I am back with another installment of Tasty Tuesdays!
Today, we are talking about easy appetizers for a last minute gathering. Sometimes the most fun parties or dinners happen at the last minute: You just show up a friend's home or you randomly decide to have some people over an hour before dinner time. It's times like these that you need some simple but delicious (and easy!) ideas to serve your guests. One of my all-time favorites, especially during the summer, are caprese skewers.

These are so simple! Just put a chunk of fresh mozzarella, piece of fresh basil (you can just tear a piece off of a leaf) and a cherry tomato on a toothpick and serve. These took about 15 minutes to make, and I was able to buy all of the ingredients locally.
I served these this past weekend at a last-minute (well, more like poorly planned) party for 20 people! To find out what other easy appetizers I served and how I pulled it off, head on over to Food Snob St. Louis today and don't forget to enter the Mrs. Wages giveaway!
