was recorded in Sydney, Australia and is a reflection of that firm commitment.
This album offers fresh, new songs to congregations worldwide, with a simple
desire to place emphasis on Jesus and a prayer that people everywhere -
regardless of circumstance - will be encouraged to find hope in Christ, the
Cornerstone.
Filled with songs such as the title track “Cornerstone”; new
anthem “Beneath The Waters” (I Will Rise); and upbeat praise, “Running”, our
prayer is that this album will be a blessing to the global Body of Christ,
filling churches and homes with the worship of an ever-faithful God.
My Thoughts:
I have enjoyed Hillsong LIVE for a while now and was
thrilled to get their new CD Cornerstone.
I really enjoy their music and love having praise songs to sing at home. Cornerstone is fresh and upbeat.
When the day has been stressful it’s nice to stop and put
the CD in and just focus on worshiping God. I love that Cornerstone bring home worship.
My favorite song is “Beneath The Waters”
The Cornerstone CD
is based off the scripture Ephesians 2:20"Together, we are His
house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, And the
cornerstone is Christ Jesus Himself" (NLT).
Overall I loved the CD. It reminded me that we do serve an
ever-faithful God who is worthy of our praise. No matter where you are Hillsong LIVE Cornerstone offers you the
chance to worship God. The CD is perfect for our whole family. If you want fresh
and upbeat worship songs the Cornerstone
will not disappoint!
