Spooky Face Pizza Recipe via @ragusauce

Halloween may be a night filled with scary (or funny) costumes, screams, laughter and LOTS of candy, but it is also one of the most popular days to order a pizza! Ragu suggests skipping the delivery man and starting the spooky festivities with a pizza party before heading out to trick-or-treat! Kids can create ghosts, vampires, or jack-o-lantern faces by getting creative with their pizza toppings. Try out this delicious Spooky Face Pizza recipe and share the creations your kids scare up.

Recipe Serves: 4
Prep Time:          20 min
Cook Time:         12 min

Ingredients
1 (12 oz.) prebaked pizza crust
1 cup Ragu® Old World Style® Pasta Sauce
1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 6 oz.)
Spooky Face Garnishes*

Directions
Preheat oven to 450°.
Arrange pizza crust on baking sheet. Evenly top with Pasta Sauce, then cheese and Funny Face Garnishes.
Bake 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
*For Spooky Face Garnishes, use 1/2 cup cooked rotini pasta for hair, broccoli for eyebrows, roasted red peppers and peas for eyes, baby carrot half for nose and pepperoni slice for mouth – or get creative!

If pizza isn't your thing, visit Ragu’s website for alternative recipes to keep your kids full and energized as they trick-or-treat. Keep in mind, it is National Pasta (and Tomato) Month, so be sure to treat your children and their friends to 100% California grown tomatoes with Ragu!

Happy Halloween, and I hope your kids avoid the houses handing out apples or pretzels instead of candy! We all know that will cause a very long day of childhood.
