My thoughts…
When I picked this book up I was excited to spend the afternoon reading these four combined novellas. I have enjoyed reading each of these author’s works so I expected to enjoy this combined effort. I hate to say it but overall I was disappointed.
The four stories had so many similarities in the plot line that it felt like reading the same thing over and over. I’m not sure exactly what went wrong, but in one of the novellas the character’s personality seemed to change completely from how the other three authors had described her. Of the four stories I liked two of them, disliked one and enjoyed one.
While I will continue to recommend all four of these writers, it will be their individual efforts and not this piece of work. Please remember that this is only my opinion. Even with my negative thoughts toward this endeavor, I’m still left thinking that Denise Hunter really can write a clean, heart pounding make out scene!
