Our thoughts:

One of the first things we purchased when our oldest granddaughter was born was a car seat for our car. We wanted to be able to take her with us as often as we could. We didn't want something such as a lack of a car seat to be the reason she couldn't go.

It is now several years and several car seats later and we are still adamant about having one for our car so she can go with us at the spur of the moment and be safe. After all who knows when the need for ice cream will pop up?!!
