Bible Art Journaling Giveaway

If you follow us at all on social media you know that I stumbled upon the Bible Art Journaling community. I am so in love with the art form. It has quickly drawn me deeper into the Scriptures. Each week I join the Bible Art Journaling Challenge that Rebekah Jones has put together. Her prompts and art lessons have been such a blessing. I always come away from it feeling stretched and strengthened. After spending a week meditating on the verse and planning out my project I find that I have usually memorized the passage. What a wonderful bonus! 

If you'd like to see some samples of what we have done up to this point you can take a peek at some of the past challenges:

I've loved this new creative outlet so much that I wanted to be able to invite all of you to join me. Of course you'll need a Journaling Bible and maybe some Pigma Micron Pens and of course some Prismacolor Colored Pencils. So I contacted my friends at Zondervan and Family Christian and asked if they would help me put something together for all of you. They said yes . . . so here's your chance to get started with Bible Art Journaling!

The Giveaway

We have partnered with Zondervan and Family Christian to offer one of our readers a copy of Zondervan Note-Takers Bible (you choose the version: Amplified, NASB, NIV, NKJV or KJV) a set of Pigma Micron Pens and a set of Prismacolor Colored Pencils. The giveaway is open to U.S. residents and will run through midnight on Friday, February 13, 2015. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. The winner will be contacted by email and will have forty-eight hours to claim the prize. If unclaimed, a new winner will be drawn.     My favorite scripture to journal, right now is any about shine or light. That is what God is speaking to me this year

    I haven't decided on a favorite verse yet, I'm trying to decide on one to start my own journaling bible. Right now I'm leaning towards something out of Romans.

    Wow, this is all completely new to me. Never even heard of it before now, but would love to find out more and start doing this! My favorite verse is Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 I am thinking He gave me this desire to learn more through this. robinsontina49 at yahoo. I don't check my google email account very often.

    A lot in Genesis--so much beauty in God's creation; the flood; so many possibilities there. And maybe the journeys of Paul--I love maps!

    I want to illustrate Proverbs 31:25-28. This godly woman shares words of wisdom with her children and with all she encounters. Her attitude reflects kindness and joy in the Lord. I can imagine how this would look on the page now!

    I am not a US resident but I have a US address because my son lived there so I am hoping that counts.

    It's hard to pick just one but Psalm 23 would be one of the first. As would Proverbs 31, Isaiah 41, and Matthew 5.
