"Mama, look!
A little cat!
Who makes it purrrrr
and curl like that?"

Join a curious little boy as he discovers the wonders of creation--from flowers to baby birds to fruit on the trees--and learns that God made it all good. Told in delightful rhyme, Only God Can Make a Kitten shows young ones that God is behind all the beautiful blessings of creation. And he even made YOU!

My Thoughts

In the midst of this bleak midwinter this sweet book is like a breath of fresh air. The story told in rhyme is about a little boy and his mother (and little sister) discovering all the wonderful things that God has made.

The journey through the springtime countryside will help reinforce that God created everything and all that He made is good. As the momma and her children take their walk the young son continually asks who made this and who made that. The momma gently points out that God made it.

The story along with the beautiful soft pastel pictures make this the perfect book to tuck into an Easter basket. It is also suited for any other occasion as well as just adding it to your personal library.  The story isn't specifically about Easter but rather spring and the renewal all around. The end of the story also includes snow and stars in the creation and it ends with saying that the very best thing that God made is YOU!

I think you will delight in reading it over and over again to your little ones. I know that I certainly did!
