This book was reviewed by my husband. He normally does not care for marriage books but loved this one. He liked how it was written by a man for men. The author uses the idea of “Playing Hurt” and how it can benefit your marriage. This would be a great gift for married men because like my husband said it is a book men will want to read. At the end of each chapter is the “Hot Seat” which asks questions about the chapter again this would be great for a men group to study.
One of the best concepts in the book is new posters for your wall. It is the idea that as children we put up posters of who we want to be. As an adult the author talks about who those posters should look like. Great concept and men will love it. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
