Kids are accustomed to hearing stories about their favorite Bible heroes—but what about from the perspective of the heroes themselves? In this My Story book, kids will love hearing one of their favorite Bible stories in a fresh new way when they hear the story of Daniel and the lion’s den straight from the hero himself! At the end of the book is a “Sticker Journal” with more than 50 vibrant, story-themed stickers.
With fun illustrations and lots of stickers, kids will learn that if they trust in God, He will bring them through even the most challenging of circumstances.
My Story: Noah ~ A whole new way for kids to learn about their favorite Bible heroes!
Kids are accustomed to hearing stories about their favorite Bible heroes—but what about from the perspective from the heroes themselves? Lots of animals, an epic flood, a beautiful rainbow and promise from God—these are all why the story of Noah and his ark are a favorite among all children. But kids have never heard the story of like this—straight from the hero’s mouth! At the end of the book is a “Sticker Journal” with more than 50 vibrant, story-themed stickers.
With a bright, vivid images and lots of fun stickers, children will learn that God is always faithful to His promises, no matter what.
My thoughts:
I love this series of books for little ones. The stories are engaging with the narrative first person perspective. It allows the child to feel as if the character is talking directly to them which makes a great impact on the truth that is being told.
The stickers and coloring pages are wonderful bonuses that allow the parent to reinforce the lessons learned throughout the book. We spread these activities out over several days and I was quite pleased at how much my little one could tell me about the story as we redid it each day. By the end of the week he was pretty much telling me the whole story!
Even after we used all the stickers and colored the appropriate areas we were left with an adorable book. What a bargain!
