My Thoughts
Ready, Set, Find Christmas is an adorable board book designed especially for the preschool set. The story is compiled from the account of Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem and the events leading up to the birth of Christ and shortly after found in Luke 2:1-16 and Matthew 2:1-12. The story is brief so young attention spans will be able to sit for the whole tale.
What I really like is how the book incorporates interactive seek and find on each of the pages. Each time we have read through the book my grandson has enthusiastically said, "Again! Again!" You would think that it would almost be a one time thing but apparently not. In fact he just beams with pleasure as he's able to quickly point to each object.
If you have a preschooler in your home I would recommend this cute board book for your Christmas story times. It is sturdy, colorful, short, and interactive, all the things that make reading a book to a wiggly little one a pleasure.
