My Thoughts
Glenys Nellist is one of our favorite children's authors. She has such a delightful way of presenting the gospel to children. In this particular title she tells the story of the Nativity in a beautiful rhyming verse.
I love the eye-catching illustrations. The colors are so vibrant and the characters faces are adorable.
Now let's talk about the fun interactive part. There are 24 little flaps that hide a word that completes each phrase. The word that is hidden is quite apparent when the phrase is read. It's a delight to see your child blurt the word before the flap is lifted.
If you have little ones I recommend this little board book as a new addition to your Christmas reads!
