You certainly aren't going to the grocery store or eating out or eating grilled cheese for the hundredth time this week. Sometimes though, you see an ingredient, something in your brain sparks, and dinner is born. Somehow the stars align and everything you need is already in your pantry, or better yet you can somehow incorporate leftovers. You chop, mince, cook, stir and bada-bing!
You aren't serving just a meal, it's a display of genius and creativity - an art all it's own. Don't you wish every night of cooking dinner felt like that? We all know it's not, but sometimes I get in this zone where that happens. I'm like a mad woman throwing this and that in the pot, stirring, tasting, adding in an attempt to bring to life the dish I have in my head. Sometimes I surprise even myself with a beyond imagination result, and sometimes we end up eating grilled cheese instead. This past weekend I had a moment. A moment where everything feel into place and this soup was created.
