Tasty Tuesday ~ Traditional Torta
Happy Tasty Tuesday Rambles of a SAHM readers! It's Laura from Food Snob St. Louis with an authentic Spanish recipe for you today. A traditional torta has eggs and potatoes and any sort of vegetable or ham as well. They are usually served at room temperature and are a great brunch or tapas dish to serve.
Since Baby Snob has been eating scrambled eggs nearly every morning, I thought this might be another good dish to add to our breakfast rotation. We got the onion and potatoes in our CSA (along with cabbage, kale, tomatoes, basil, trout, bagels and some Billy Goat Chips) and I had already purchased some eggs from Maude's Market, where we pick up our CSA, the previous week, which also went into this recipe.
Head on over to Food Snob St. Louis today for the full recipe. If you are in St. Louis and are looking to join a CSA (which is very hard at this point in the season), Maude's Market Summer CSA starts the week after the 4th of July. There are tons of options if you are a vegetarian or eat Paleo as well. You can read more about it here.
