My thoughts:

I think you will enjoy reading with your sweet girl these prominent Bible stories that use a delightful little princess to illustrate just how much God cares for you. The book begins in Genesis and takes you through the gospels, making it a great introduction to the Bible for even the littlest of girls. Each story begins with a short scripture that could easily be used as a memory verse. Then the Bible story is given and followed with a quick Princess Prayer and a Princess Jewel. The illustrations are absolutely adorable and add a nice touch to the stories. 

Bible Stories for His Beautiful Princess is designed for toddler and preschool little girls. If you are reading it as a bedtime story or something similar it would also be fine for the older siblings. The Bible stories and principles that are taught are appealing to young and old, male and female.

Are you looking for a good way to introduce your little one to a nightly prayer routine? Bedtime Prayers That End With A Hug! is a wonderful resource to achieve that goal. It is filled with 52 nightly prayers that address a different topic each night. The language is simple so your preschooler will easily understand the topic that is being taught. 

The illustrations by Ruth Zeglin are beautiful and calming, just the thing for a wind down at the end of the day. Each day's prayer is broken down into segments titled Snuggle Time, Bedtime Bible Thought, My Hug-a-Bye Prayer and then it ends with a nighty night hug time! You are instructed to "give the one who seeks the Lord a great big hug!"

I'm looking forward to sharing this with my little ones each night! What a beautiful habit to get your little ones into.

My thoughts:

In my opinion it is never too early to begin teaching your children to study God's Word. The One Year My Princess Devotions: Preschool Edition is the perfect way to begin that habit with your sweet little girl. 

Each day's reading is short and sweet so as not to lose the attention of your little one. The scripture selection (Royal Words) is simple enough that your little girl can easily repeat it after you. The Princess Thoughts section is written in an easily understood description so as to help you apply what the scripture means. The prayer suggestion (A Prayer for the King) can again be easily repeated by your girl.

The daily devotions are designed to be done during the morning or afternoon so that your little princess can complete the task assigned for the day (Princess in Action). The activities again are simple but have a wonderful application to the scripture of the day.

I am completely thrilled with this book. I'm looking forward to introducing the little girls in my life to it. The author, Karen Whiting, has a fabulous Pinterest board dedicated completely to Princess parties. You should check it out for great ideas to supplement the book!

My thoughts
Attack at the Arena is book two in the Imagination Station series. If you love the Adventures in Odyssey then you will love these books. These books are a great price at only 4.99 and perfect for ages 7and up! If you are homeschooling you can use these books for second grade. I really enjoyed the adventure in this book and that they used a real historical figure. I am looking forward to having the complete series for my son. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
